Convenience for the population begins with order and discipline

Today, Tashkent City Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov, accompanied by the First Deputy Head of the Department for Ensuring Public Safety and the Rule of Law of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Azimov, heads of city departments, relevant agencies, and the leadership of Chilanzar District Administration, familiarized himself with the ongoing works at a number of facilities in the district.

🏘The main attention was focused on clearing public places of illegal structures, landscaping, developing engineering and communication infrastructure, and creating a safe urban environment.

🗾In particular, the participants of the event visited the area of “Qatortol” Street and market and familiarized themselves with the dismantling of unauthorized structures that for many years occupied the pedestrian path. Due to illegal structures, people often had to step onto the roadway.

🧑‍💻Today the city is returning the legitimate space to pedestrians. Sidewalks are primarily intended for people — children, the elderly, parents with strollers, persons with disabilities, and all residents who move around the city on foot every day.

🔵In addition, landscaping works in “Zarqo‘rgon” mahalla, issues of increasing the reliability of electricity supply in “Navbahor” mahalla, and existing problems at the GES-9 substation in “Lutfiy” mahalla were studied.

🫥All the ongoing works are united by a single goal — to make the city more convenient, safe, and comfortable for every citizen. It is precisely the interests of people that remain the main criterion in the development of the urban environment, and establishing order in public places is an important part of this systematic work.
