➡️ Systematic work continues in Tashkent city on the development of pedestrian infrastructure, recreational areas, and safe and inclusive public spaces.

The project involves the comprehensive development of the urban area that includes Tashkent Sayilgoh (Promenade), the adjacent boulevard, green zones, pedestrian pathways, and other elements of urban infrastructure.

🔺 Tashkent Broadway — Sayilgoh Street is one of the capital’s most famous promenades. Historically, it has been a vibrant street life hub with the participation of artists, musicians, residents, and guests. Due to the high pedestrian flow and its special significance, the area requires modern, sustainable, and thoughtful solutions for further development.

📈 The analysis of the current situation showed the need for gradual and comprehensive renovation not only of the pedestrian zone itself, but also of adjacent areas — the boulevard, green spaces, crossings, lighting, irrigation, safety, and overall appearance.

🔴 The project is based on the Unified Design Code and the principles of integrated area development. During the preparation phase, proposals from residents and the professional community will be studied.

🎲 It is particularly important to note that the area will retain its character as an open urban environment. Street artists and representatives of the creative community will remain an integral part of this space. The project’s task is not to eliminate the lively urban activity, but to organize it and make the environment comfortable, accessible, and safe for everyone.

🧑‍💻 Currently, the area needs renovation: in some places the pavement is worn out, pedestrian routes are not always convenient, and it is necessary to develop a barrier-free environment, update landscaping elements, bring structures, appearance, and certain activities in line with sanitary, commercial, and urban planning requirements.

📝 The project envisages the following: — Renovation of road and pedestrian pathway surfaces; — Improvement of pedestrian routes and crossings; — Creation of a barrier-free environment; — Landscaping of Broadway, the boulevard, and adjacent areas; — Modernization of the lighting system; — Development of greening and irrigation systems; — Installation of benches, waste bins, lighting equipment, and other small architectural forms; — Reconstruction of fountains; — Regulation of signs and advertisements in accordance with the Unified Design Code; — Demolition of illegal and disordered structures; — Adaptation of commercial activities to established standards; — Implementation of video surveillance and monitoring systems in public places.

Existing trees are being inspected under the supervision of industry specialists. In addition, the planting of at least 1,000 new trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants is planned.

🏆 The main goal of the project is to preserve the lively atmosphere and unique character of the area while transforming it into a more comfortable, green, safe, and modern space for the residents and guests of the capital.
