Dear Citizens!

It is proposed to name and rename certain areas and streets in Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts.

The Tashkent City Commission on Naming and Renaming of Geographical Objects has received proposals from the hokimiyats of Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts regarding the naming and renaming of certain areas and streets within their territories.

In accordance with Article 4¹ of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Geographical Names”, the Tashkent City Administration invites the residents of the capital to express their opinions on the proposed naming and renaming of certain areas and streets in Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts on the website https://geonom.tashkent.uz in order to study public opinion.

In addition, public opinions will also be accepted in the following forms:

  • Verbally: by calling +998-71-210-04-13 (on working days from 09:00 to 17:00);
  • In writing: by sending a letter to the address: 100060, Tashkent city, Chilanzar district, Islam Karimov Avenue, 51;
  • Electronically: by sending an email to geonom@digitaltashkent.uz.
Local residents may express their opinions from May 25 to June 8 of this year.
