At the next stop of the meeting, a large-scale ecological project planned for implementation on the bank of the Bo‘zsuv Canal was presented to the public.
🔠 While providing information about the project, officials particularly emphasized that its main principle is the preservation of the existing natural environment. In particular, existing trees and shrubs will be preserved, additional seedlings will be planted, and no harm will be caused to wildlife and the natural landscape.
🧑💻 Within the framework of the project, pedestrian and bicycle paths, children’s playgrounds, sports zones, recreation areas, and public spaces will be created.
🛡 In addition, safety fences, lighting systems, and a pedestrian bridge will be built, connecting 5 mahallas with each other. Special areas for fishing are also planned.
🕊️ One of the unique features of the project is the creation of special ecological islands for wild birds and other animals. Furthermore, separate zones for kayaking and canoeing are planned to develop water sports.
🌳 It was emphasized that no tree felling will be allowed, and this issue will be under the special control of the hokimiyat and environmental authorities.
🇺🇿 The Mayor of Tashkent announced that work on the project will begin today. Proposals from public representatives and mahalla activists were heard, and opinions were exchanged on further improving the project.
🤔 According to experts, this ecological area is expected to become a new exemplary zone not only for Uchtepa district, but for the entire capital, contributing to the preservation of the natural environment and providing meaningful recreation for the population.
