What Has Changed in Tashkent in 90 Days?

Large-scale works have been implemented within the framework of the “Urgent 90 Days” program.

📊 Over the past 3 months (from March 1 to June 1), the following results have been achieved:

— Renovation works were carried out at 271 major intersections and pedestrian crossings in the city, where 3,946 “smart” traffic light devices were put into operation;

— Streets with high traffic flow were analyzed, and projects for organizing traffic on more than 264 kilometers of roads were developed;

— More than 220 bus stops were newly built and reconstructed in a modern style. The new stops are equipped with comfortable seating, video surveillance systems, electronic boards, “SOS” buttons, and other modern solutions;

— Stop areas have been expanded, creating even more comfortable conditions for passengers. Since the new platforms are built at the level of bus doors, passengers can now board and alight almost in one step;

— New traffic light facilities have been installed at several previously unprotected pedestrian crossings, increasing pedestrian safety;

— 3,754 new road signs were installed, and 174 kilometers of road markings were renewed using modern technologies;

In a short period, nearly 720,000 square meters of road surface were repaired — one of the largest road repair campaigns in recent years.

📈 As a result:

✅ The safe movement of more than 160,000 pedestrians per hour is now ensured; ✅ The time vehicles spend on the road is being reduced; ✅ Road traffic safety and the convenience of using public transport are being elevated to a new level.

🚀 The achieved results are only the first stage of big changes. Work on modernizing transport infrastructure, improving road safety, and increasing the attractiveness of public transport will continue consistently.
